Honey & Mustard Chicken Stir Fry with Rice or Noodles

Servings: 2 people

Ingredients:

500g Honey & Mustard Chicken Stir Fry (marinated chicken strips with honey and mustard sauce, fresh pepper strips)
200g rice or 200g noodles (choose your favorite)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional for extra flavor)
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Fresh spring onions, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Rice or Noodles:
    If using rice: Rinse the rice under cold water, then cook according to package instructions.
    If using noodles: Cook the noodles in boiling water as per the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Stir Fry:
    Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Chicken:
    Add the 500g Honey & Mustard Chicken Stir Fry (marinated chicken strips and peppers) to the pan. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the peppers are tender but still crisp.
  4. Combine with Rice or Noodles:
    Once the chicken is cooked, add the cooked rice or noodles to the pan. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil (optional). Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  5. Serve:
    Plate your stir fry, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions for extra flavor and crunch (optional).
